How to arrive

  • By Air

    Foreigners with have a special deal with JAL and ANA, so we recommend to fly in - you can find more information about it here and book your flight with JAL here.

    Fly to Akita Airport

    • From Haneda Airport with JAL or ANA
    • Total flight time: 65 minutes
    • Upon arrival, take the bus to Akita train station (40 minutes)
    • Take the train to Kita-Kanaoka train station (50~60 minutes)
    • From there, it's a 3 minute walk to TANEHUB

    Fly to Ohdatenoshiro Airport

    • From Haneda Airport with ANA
    • Total flight time: 70 minutes
    • Upon arrival, take the bus to Takanosu train station (10 minutes)
    • Take the train to Kita-Kanaoka train station (35 minutes)
    • From there, it's a 3 minute walk to TANEHUB

    At Akita train station

    Coming from Akita station, you will need to get a ticket to Tsugary (180) and exit at Kita-Kanaoka Station, the price is around ¥940. After that you can reach TANEHUB after a 2 minute walk from the station, following the map.

    If you need any help once you arrive to the station, you can head to the Tourist Information Office inside and they will be able to help out with any issue (don't worry, they speak English).

     

  • By Bus

    Coming directly from Tokyo you can take the JamJam Liner night bus, this will make your journey quite comfortable and relatively cheap comparing to the alternatives.

    Depending on where in Tokyo you're departing from:

    From Tokyo train station

    • Bus departing at 22:40/21:50
    • Arriving at Akita station next morning at 8:05/6:21
    • Take the train to Kita-Kanaoka train station (50~60 minutes)
    • From there, it's a 3 minute walk to TANEHUB

    From Shinjuku train station

    • Bus departing at 22:40/22:50/21:55/21:50/22:05
    • Arriving at Akita station next morning at 8:50/8:30/7:45/6:40/6:40
    • Take the train to Kita-Kanaoka train station (50~60 minutes)
    • From there, it's a 3 minute walk to TANEHUB

    From Shinjuku train station (alternative)

    • Bus departing at 22:40
    • Arriving at Noshiro station (Castle Hotel Noshiro) next morning at 9:50
    • Take the train to Higashinoshiro train station (5 minutes)
    • Take the train to Kita-Kanaoka train station
    • From there, it's a 3 minute walk to TANEHUB

    At Akita train station

  • By Shinkansen Bullet Train to Akita Area

    Depending on where in Tokyo you're departing from:

    From Tokyo train station - Komachi

    • There is 1 train running every hour
    • Total time to Akita station: 230 minutes
    • Take the train to Kita-Kanaoka train station (50~60 minutes)
    • From there, it's a 3 minute walk to TANEHUB

    From Tokyo train station - Hayabusa

    • There is 1 train running every hour
    • Total time to Akita station: 230 minutes
    • Take the train to Kita-Kanaoka train station (50~60 minutes)
    • From there, it's a 3 minute walk to TANEHUB

  • By Car

    Following the map, after reaching the intersection as it's marked on the departing point - facing Northeast (coming from South our West) - follow the small road on your right side and just before reaching the end you will find TANEHUB on your right hand side.
